Go To Hell Mel chooses the Melanoma Research Foundation as its primary beneficiary. It is our strong belief that contributions made to MRF are most helpful in the fight to find a cure for melanoma. We are not associated with MRF in any way other than as an outside supporter of their mission and efforts. 

Where does MRF money go?
Approximately 88.8% went to research, education and advocacy in 2003. The remainder was spent on other programmatic activities such as publications and a small amount on administrative overhead. As a volunteer-run organization, MRF has no paid staff. Grants are awarded through a scientific peer-review system paneled by leading clinical and basic melanoma researchers. MRF are not affiliated with any specific hospital or research institution and thus award grants to applicants that have the best combination of scientific merit, appropriately skilled researchers, the greatest likelihood for success and the highest benefit for the melanoma patient community.
